How Close will Asteroid 2012 Tc4 pass by the Earth Tonight. It is a big question on everyone's mind tonight as we are quietly asleep. Or should we sleep? Watch the countdown to the Asteroid.

Asteroid TC4’s closest approach to Earth will be over Antarctica at 1:40 AM EDT. Tens of professionally run telescopes across the globe will be taking ground-based observations from visible to near-infrared to radar.

26,000 miles away from the Surface of the Earth and yet they do not know exactly which may be closer than that.

A fireball has already been reported AMS received one report about a fireball seen over England on Wednesday, October 11th 2017 around 23:10 UT.



 So Far around the world, there has been over 15 fireball sightings and 3 have been seen in New York.
