NASA has a great information about the August 21, 2017 Total Solar eclipse :
The lunar shadow enters the United States near Lincoln City, Oregon, at 9:05 a.m. PDT. Totality begins in the United States in Lincoln City, Oregon, at 10:16 a.m. PDT. The total eclipse will end in Charleston, South Carolina, at 2:48 p.m. EDT. The lunar shadow leaves the United States at 4:09 p.m. EDT. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout the United States.
The August 21, 2017 total eclipse will last 2 minutes and 40 seconds. There are safety precautions before you watch the eclipse. Always use special wear usually from your local space museum. You can loose your vision if attempted without eye safety. Pregnant women and babies are asked to stay indoors.

I will begin with a speculation of what will happen when the solar eclipse passes through the NorthWestern part of the United States. On the news worldwide, The Yellowstone volcano has been on the top of the list of discussion. The Yellowstone volcano erupting will cause massive danger . It has been on red alert since the 5.6 magnitude on.
There will be two eclipse during a single Eclipse Season. The fact that there are two Eclipses in one season is already rear enough. According to the website Eclipsewise.com an Eclipse Season is explained as:
eclipse season - An eclipse season is a period during which the Sun appears close enough to one of the Moon’s nodes to permit an eclipse to occur. Each season lasts approximately 34 days and repeats at about 173-day intervals. Thus there are always two full eclipse seasons each year. The 173-day interval is the time it takes the Sun to travel from one lunar node to the next. Because the Moon’s synodic period is shorter than an eclipse season, there is a least one solar and one lunar eclipse during every eclipse season. (see Wikipedia)

The Yellowstone Supervolcano is on the verge to errupt soon. The Yellowstone has been on high alert for the past month , as it was reported on the July 11, 2017 Yellowstone Trend.
Historical evidence has shown that strong above 6 magnitude earthquakes were associated to lunar total eclipses. So be aware of the Yellowstone Supervolcano. During the August 2014 lunar eclipse a 28 day window was looked read full report. According to Earthchangesmedia.com to the article named "SPECIAL REPORT: LIST OF EARTHQUAKES AND VOLCANOES RELATED TO SOLAR AND LUNAR ECLIPSE", there were over 19 earthquakes above 6.4 magnitude and also 16 volcanoes erupted all around the world.

When the moon goes through various phases ..we see tides that are raising and lowering with land and water and if there is an earthquake...the raising and the lowering....triggers an earthquake. When we have a solar eclipse all it is saying is that gravitational force of the sun that we normally of the Sun will have the added input of the Moon. But when the two are aligned over an area it may trigger something that is about to happen anyway...
Although Stan Deyo does not state it is a grave danger that the line at the time of the Solar eclipse will cause a dangerous Gravitational pull on the Earth, he is still unsure.
Science
One thing is for sure, Scientific information shows how tides and Waves are at the highest when there is a Full Moon. So shouldn't logic show a correlation when the Moon is in creating an unusual event such as coming in line between the Sun and the Earth.

The path clipped Washington State across the whole of Oregon and then the rest of the country exiting over Florida. Denver Colorado was the largest city to see totality. The size of the shadow was between 70 and 44 miles (113 and 71 km) across as it traveled across America.
