A petition trending is the Animal Cruelty Free Exhibition at the Guggenheim. It really is worth signing. The concern with all these exhibitions so called art is not just the animals. But what are the people thinking. Is there some enjoyment in watching animals be raged. The petition has already received 678,406 supporters as of September 26, 2017. The Petition is started by Stephanie Lewis in the United States. Why would American Express ever support Animal Cruelty? It is no surprise this type of odd behaviour in China because in China they eat Dogs but American Express. What is the odd association with American Pit Bulls?
The Exhibition at the Guggenheim begins in October 6, 2017 is set to run for three months.Where there will be american pill bull dogs "facing off against one another, running "at" each other but prevented from touching one another, which is a stressful and frustrating experience for animals trained to fight" says Stephanie Lewis.
Stephanie Lewis goes on to say that the exhibit will also:
feature live animals (reptiles, amphibians, insects) that are trapped in a glass enclosure for attendee viewing. According to the NY Times article, "During the three-month exhibition some creatures will be devoured; others may die of fatigue. The big ones will survive. From time to time, a New York City pet shop will replenish the menagerie with new bugs."

Please review this petition containing signatures and comments from concerned people all around the world who believe Art does NOT involve animal abuse of any kind, and should never do so. Please consider pulling these three pieces from your upcoming "Art and China After 1989" exhibit: "Dogs That Cannot Touch Each Other," "A Case Study of Transference," and "Theatre of the World." These three pieces in particular involve planned, calculated cruelty towards animals. Employing these kinds of methods in the name of art should not be tolerated, and much less featured, in a prominent, globally-recognized cultural institution like the Guggenheim. Do the right thing. Remove these pieces now.
