Sunday, April 16, 2017  Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord   Today it is the day that we should set our " minds on the things that are above, not on things that are on Earth" as is written on Colossians 3.1-4. The reasons are many and one of them is "When Christ who is your life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory." (Colossians 3.1-4) At Golgotha, known as the place of the Skull, after Jesus was crucified on a cross by the Romans, Pilate the law under that time. At ninth hour in the afternoon darkness followed during a full moon and "behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the Earth quaked, and the rocks split. (Matthew 27:51) In John's Gospel, John records events leading up to the Resurrection. The Resurrection is the "final proof that Jesus is who He claims to be - the Son of God."  John 20.1-18 20 Now on the first day of the Week Mary Magdelene went to the tomb e
