Asteroid Trend Something Mysteriously Flies Over Greenland

Was it an Asteroid, Fireball or something else? Fireballs are happening on a regular basis now but when an explosion occurs in the sky and there is no mention of it being a fireball, meteor or asteroid than what happens?
So why is the United States military not talking about? The news medias did not start reporting it until August 3, 2018 which was 10 days after the event happened. Perhaps because the United States Air Force said they would not contact on it. But Among one news media new york post:
A meteor hit Earth and exploded with 2.1 kilotons of force in July, but the Air Force has made no mention of the event.
NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory confirmed an object of unspecified size traveling at 15.1 miles per second (54,360 miles per hour) struck the ground in Greenland, just 27 miles north of Thule Air Base, on July 25. The base is mainly used to detect missile launches.
So how this event captured. The strange event spread through a tweet almost already 5 days from the event occuring. The tweet mentioned "A fireball was detected over Greenland on July 25, 2018 by US Government sensors at an altitude of 43.3 km. The energy from the explosion is estimated to be 2.1 kilotons. ".

Thankfully, Trunews made it a headline before any other news media thought of mentioning it on their newsfeeds.
