Well while it may seen unusual to see snow in August it did make the records. On August 27,2018 Logan Pass received snow in the early hours of the morning. It quickly spread on social media that there was already snow in the Glacier park of Alberta.
On Aug 27 Summertime snow! Overnight, @GlacierNPS was dusted with the white stuff! @WeatherNation.
It's not your imagination.....snow is actually making an appearance this morning writes KPAX Missoula News.
It may be long weekend but it is not really a time to pack your bags on a hiking trips to places where there has been wildfires nearby. Where wild life are fleeing like the bears that may have no where to go. You also do not want to find yourself in an awkward dangerous position where you will have to be rescued by rangers that is if you are lucky. Or even be asking your dad questions you may never ask him again throughout your life, dad what if the car blows up. But is it worth your time to stay at home than to be caught in an inferno adventure that you may not make out alive.

“What if the car blows up?” a panicked hiker asked his dad as they tried to drive through the raging Howe Ridge Fire in Montana. Watch their heart-pounding escape before Glacier National Park employees rescued them.
You do not want to be relaxing and second guessing yourself as one man did on social media on August 26, 2018 . Hard to say it its smoke or clouds but this was the view during a rare clear moment looking down the Waterton Valley towards the Boundary Creek fire two days ago. #watertonlakes #Waterton #fire.
So was the chaos of father and son team traveling in California. While these couple of adventurous people made it alive there are those that we have heard that never did. So you may think twice when traveling this long weekend.
