This past decade we have seen islands disappearing, rivers disappearing, ground shifting and continents drifting even sea disappearing.
The Aral sea disappeared over a period of 40 years. It could be explained as a natural climate change or not? It certainly was not one that happened over night but it is one everyone should learn from.
Resident said that the Seas started to recede beginning in the 1960's . Even in 1978 one resident recalls swimming in the Sea. A sea that once was rich in fish and life is now home to Camel and livestock. So what happened to the Aral Sea. Over a period of forty years where the water waves crushed to what is now the bottom of the sea is it a curse from God. While Aral Sea is in Northern Central Asia it is could the type of one world order the blame.
It is a very sad outcome for the residents that say that they never imagined such an ecological catastrophe. NASA once describes it as the fourth largest lake in the world. It also explains the dried up caused by the Soviet Union two river diversion to irrigate farmland. The major water diversion projects on the Syr Darya and Amu Darya rivers, capturing water that once fed into the Aral Sea.The Aral Sea basin includes parts of Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Usbekistan.
So now do you think that climate change is a natural disaster or a man made diversion.
