If a G-2 class geomagnetic storm can disrupt communication solar radio interference creating a weaker power grid what can a G-4 or G-5 geomagnetic storm do?

The most famous geomagnetic storm affecting Quebec, Canada brought the power grids down for 12 hours because of a Solar Storm in 1989 .
The fact that Lebanon electronic devices exploded on Tuesday September 17, 2024 a day when the partial eclipse, blood moon and geomagnetic storm happened, did it have anything to do with it?
